Japan sees no daily COVID-19 deaths for 1st time in
Japan reported no daily deaths from COVID-19 on Sunday for the first time in 15 months, according to a tally by national broadcaster NHK. Japan has reported more than 18,300 deaths from COVID-19 so far, according to the Johns Hopkins University COVID-19 tracker. Japan has witnessed a decline in COVID-19 cases and deaths due to a rise in vaccinations.
